Message If every window on a car is broken, it's often grounds for being totalled out. There could be no damage to the frame, body, anything, just glass and it could be a salvage title.

Also, considering the low market value of the Z32 right now, it would not take much damage for an insurance company to total it out. Not to mention that it is possible (with the right amount of money and effort) to repair a car almost to the point that the collision never happened, so a rebuilt title could, feasibly, be a better car than a car with a clear title that has had accidents that were never reported.

I've never checked the history on my Z32, but I would not be surprised if it was a rebuilt title (my car was once a parts car for Ultimate Z before they decided to put it together and sell it), and I've had less issues with this car than I did with my last TT which had a clean title.

So basically, there's more to a car than its title.
